Essaouria’s long sandy beach is used from dawn to dusk by the local inhabitants, early morning you will find people practicing the ancient martial art of Chi Gong.

The Matisse Gallery, Marrakech last night opened its latest art exhibition ”Arabstrations” by Noureddine Chater. Chater is a well known and much loved home grown Marrakech Calligraphy artist.

Dar Si Said Museum Marrakech.

A few twisty turny alleyways after the Bahia palace, just past the brightly coloured carpets , the next historic site to visit in Marrakech  is the Dar Si Said Museum. This museum is dedicated to the arts and crafts both past and present of Marrakech and it’s surrounding areas.

Menara Gardens, Marrakech. Hosts The Jardin ‘Art.

Quite close to the city there is a shady olive grove called the Menara Gardens. A place for us city folks to take a stroll on a beautiful spring day.

Last night we dined out with some friends at La Pavillon Du Golfs new restaurant Dar Ennassim, and ate the most delectable food created by chef Fabrice Vulin.

KawKab Jeux Marrakech Play Park

The little people in our family were feeling kind of left out. Heroic tales of high speed chases on the go kart circuit by the older boys had left them feeling they too needed some action in their lives……..
So we took  them to the brightly painted playground called KawKab Jeux.
Guaranteed  to put a smile on any little face.

What to do With the Children in Agadir…..

So we drove away from the hail and rain that Marrakech had to offer this weekend, and headed down to Agadir. Busy as always hubby was off to design and decorate with some dear friends of ours.
