Back from Dubai. I'm so dissapointed. The place is busy trying to develop and westernise so much, to the point it's completely lost it's culture and it's identity. It's a real shame, they're building the world's tallest building and the most expensive metro system and that's pretty much their claim to fame. Fact is most of the city is inhabited by working class immigrants (Hindi is as widely spoken as English) living in not so attractive accomodation. Then there are 2 of 3 roads with tall and magnificent buildings in the midst of the working class. These are the roads you see on tv...
