In March 2008 I went with a tour group to Israel. We spent one night at the Ein Gedi kibbutz resort in Ein Gedi (of course, duh!). I could, and probably will, write an entire blog just on this resort as it's one of my favourites in Israel, certainly not the most luxurious, but probably the most eclectic. Safe to say that this resort is a great place to stay if you are planning on visiting Masada and/or the Dead Sea, and a stay at the resort is a one-day vacation unto itself.
