Living within a six-hour drive to Las Vegas, we make the trek to the sacred city on a regular basis, and I have to say that it's one of my favourite destinations, even with the children. Now, our children are a little older, ages 15 and 11, so we feel comfortable leaving them in the hotel room to watch movies in the evening while we enjoy the hotel's casino and indulge in adult time. This may not be an option for all families, but even so, there are more than enough activities to keep a family busy throughout the day.
