Win $200 - FAQ & Rules for Monthly Travel Writing Competition - Please read before entering!

What can I write about? - Every month on this forum we publish a list of subjects and article guidelines that we will accept as entries for that month. Keep an eye on here to stay up to date.

How long should the article be
- Each competition entry should be a minimum of 500 words, and there is no upper limit to the length. Use your own judgement on that - less is often more.

How do I enter? - Create an account on the site, familiarise yourself with how to submit content and when you are ready submit your entry. NB - For an entry to be valid you MUST choose the Submit Competition Entry, and not Submit to The Bloggers Guide.

What Can I Win? - The best entry each month will win $200.00 and a whole heap of kudos! All winning entries are also guaranteed publication in the paperback version of the city guidebooks.

Will the entries be published on the site? - Only those that are judged good enough. Entries maybe published on the site before the winner is announced.

Can I enter an article I have written for another blog or website? - Yes, but you MUST remove the article from the other site before submitting. This is to stop both sites being penalized for duplicate content.
