There Are No Festivals In Singapore!

I know and learned throughout the last month of getting introduced to the culture of rock/pop concert evenings a second time for my life, just very different this time, that I cant and shouldn't compare going to a concert in Singapore to going to a concert in Europe.

Concerts Are Different In Singapore

Free Concerts in the Vondelpark

One of the highlights of summer in Amsterdam is enjoying the beautiful weather and being able to do stuff outside. Outdoor activities don't have to be limited to the daytime; the Vondelpark features outdoor (free!) entertainment every weekend during the high summer season. This upcoming weekend is the last of the summer season, so now is your chance to enjoy this free entertainment on a beautiful Amsterdam summer night.

Free Concerts in New York City

More than any other city in the world, perhaps, New York City offers a wealth of things to do without having to spend money to have fun. One of the most popular free activities in NYC during the summer months are the myriad of free concerts that take place - in different locations throughout the city. Of course, the biggest concerts take place in Central Park, drawing huge recording artists to give free concerts for tens to hundreds of thousands of people.

The Legend of Waterloo in Austin

Live music is a way of life in Austin. You really can’t escape it. You want migas for brunch on a Sunday morning and chances are there will be an acoustic trio persevering their mid-morning hangover and setting up in the corner of the restaurant. You will be surrounded by live Afro-Latin beats and dancing bodies while watching the sunset at Lake Travis. Live music is in every crevice of Austin.

Follow your nose to Jo's in Austin

Yes they have great coffee and espresso and their empanadas are amazing. Foodies don't leave town until you have tasted a blackberry, toffee, caramel, hazelnut or pumpkin spice empanada. (I won't reveal the other flavors. Get down here and taste for yourself.)
Yes their Turbo Iced Coffee will make your toes tingle and supply a caffeine boost that will keep you grooving through the night.
Yes you must sit outside. Even in the dead heat of a Texas summer. It is part of the Austin experience. You wouldn't drive to the ocean without at least dipping a toe in would you? Or would you?
